Literary Analysis 2
In "the city of thieves" the author shows the reader how awful WW2 was for Russia. Every single day Germans bombard Leningrad with bombs and other weapons. Food is scarce as the citizens are forced to make bread out of items like wood and fake flour. Cannibals can also be found living in some houses. The city is torn apart, every building is roped up, boarded up, and closed down. There are no more cars besides military vehicles roaming the streets looking for people past their curfew. Lev was caught looting a dead German which is illegal. After being taken out of jail with a friend named Koyla that he met, they were lucky enough to go on a task to find eggs for the chief. David shows the reader the pain of Russia and the feelings of the people in the middle of WW2.

Literary response 1
I am reading the book "City of Thieves" by David Benioff. David attempts to recreate his Grandfathers story in Leningrad during ww2. His grandfather, Lev Beniov, does not remember much. He knows he killed 2 Germans, and he has a messed up index finger from the war. David Benioff creates a first person story about Lev and how he is determined to stay in Leningrad. The book is an eye-opener to the events in Russia and how awful the war was.

Project reflections
The project was important to me because i felt like i was learning a lot about ww1 and how to use more tools like the forums and ohpedia. I also got to work with other people in rosemary from colorado. I felt like the project opened up more opportunities for more collaboration through other sites such as the forums or webs. there is also more room to be creative in future projects.
At some points me and my partner had communication issues but at most times we were doing our work. I was very happy with how much information was on our lesson and hard we worked on it. I will remember the game in this project because it was such a good example of ww1.
